Dear Sutter Community,
I am thrilled to welcome you to the 2024-25 school year and introduce myself as the new principal of Sutter Middle School. It is an honor to join this vibrant community and embark on a journey of growth, learning, and success with all of you.
With a deep passion for education and a commitment to student achievement, I am eager to contribute to our school’s continued success. I grew up in LAUSD, attending Hoover St Elementary, Bancroft Middle School, and Downtown Business Magnet High School. After moving to the Bay Area for college (Go Bears!), I began my teaching career in Oakland. Over the past 20 years, I have dedicated myself to serving students within LAUSD, and I am overjoyed to now have the opportunity to contribute to the Sutter community as Principal.
Over the coming weeks, I look forward to meeting each of you, whether in classrooms or at school events. Building strong relationships and getting to know our community is very important to me. I am excited to work alongside you to continue cultivating an environment where everyone feels supported and valued.

Querida Comunidad de Sutter,
Estoy emocionada de darles la bienvenida al año escolar 2024-25 y de presentarme como la nueva directora de Sutter Middle School. Es un honor unirme a esta vibrante comunidad y emprender juntos un camino de crecimiento, aprendizaje y éxito.
Con una profunda pasión por la educación y un compromiso con el logro estudiantil, estoy ansiosa por contribuir al continuo éxito de nuestra escuela. Crecí en LAUSD, asistiendo a Hoover St Elementary, Bancroft Middle School y Downtown Business Magnet High School. Después de mudarme al Área de la Bahía para la universidad (¡Go Bears!), comencé mi carrera docente en Oakland. Durante los últimos 20 años, me he dedicado a servir a los estudiantes dentro de LAUSD, y ahora estoy encantada de tener la oportunidad de contribuir a la comunidad de Sutter como Directora.
En las próximas semanas, espero conocer a cada uno de ustedes, ya sea en las aulas o en los eventos escolares. Construir relaciones sólidas y conocer a nuestra comunidad es muy importante para mí. Estoy emocionada de trabajar junto a ustedes para seguir cultivando un entorno donde todos se sientan apoyados y valorados.
