Dear Sutter Community,
I am thrilled to welcome you to our Sutter family and introduce myself as the principal of Sutter Middle School. It is an honor to be a part of this vibrant community and embark on a journey of growth, learning, and success with all of you.
With a deep passion for education and a commitment to student achievement, I am eager to contribute to our school’s continued success. I grew up in LAUSD, attending Hoover St Elementary, Bancroft Middle School, and Downtown Business Magnet High School. After moving to the Bay Area for college (Go Bears!), I began my teaching career in Oakland. Over the past 20 years, I have dedicated myself to serving students within LAUSD, and I am overjoyed to now have the opportunity to contribute to the Sutter community as Principal.
I look forward to meeting each of you, whether in classrooms or at school events. Building strong relationships and getting to know our community is very important to me. I am excited to work alongside you to continue cultivating an environment where everyone feels supported and valued.

Me llena de alegría darles la bienvenida a nuestra familia Sutter y presentarme como la directora de Sutter Middle School. Es un honor formar parte de esta vibrante comunidad y emprender, junto a todos ustedes, un viaje de crecimiento, aprendizaje y éxito.
Impulsado por una profunda pasión por la educación y un firme compromiso con el rendimiento estudiantil, estoy ansioso por contribuir al éxito continuo de nuestra escuela. Crecí dentro del LAUSD, asistiendo a Hoover St Elementary, Bancroft Middle School y Downtown Business Magnet High School. Tras mudarme al Área de la Bahía para cursar mis estudios universitarios (¡Vamos, Bears!), inicié mi carrera docente en Oakland. A lo largo de los últimos 20 años, me he dedicado a servir a los estudiantes del LAUSD, y me siento inmensamente feliz de tener ahora la oportunidad de contribuir a la comunidad de Sutter en calidad de directora.
Espero con entusiasmo conocer a cada uno de ustedes, ya sea en las aulas o en los eventos escolares. Para mí, es fundamental establecer relaciones sólidas y conocer a fondo a nuestra comunidad. Me entusiasma la idea de trabajar codo a codo con ustedes para seguir cultivando un entorno en el que todos se sientan respaldados y valorados.
Les invito a mantenerse atentos a las novedades sobre los próximos eventos y las oportunidades para participar activamente. El éxito de nuestra escuela depende del esfuerzo colectivo de toda nuestra comunidad, y confío plenamente en que, juntos, lograremos grandes cosas.
