Our mission is to afford students the opportunity to master essential communication skills, have the ability to problem solve, reflect on how they learn, understand their role in a democracy, be creative, be willing to be risk takers, and be lifelong learners.

A neighborhood school seeking to meet the needs of all students. At Sutter Middle School, we take a team approach to education. To successfully transition students from elementary to middle school, we seek to personalize learning for students by programming students into interdisciplinary teams.

Sutter's Back to School Night is Thursday, September 17, 2026 from 5-7 PM!

BTSN is an important opportunity to meet your child’s teachers, learn about classroom expectations, and strengthen the partnership between home and school. Please plan to join us that evening. Additionally, we will have two important parent meetings prior to the class visitations. See fliers!
